Ah. Suppose the people who call it that just can't see the difference between those using ready-made assets and those who actually make their own, or do more with those models. It's hard to see for one not initiated in that realm you know. I can attest. ;) Course, the negative minority's always the more vocal one, but we don't all feel that way. Of course 3d art isn't low effort or easy. It's insanely hard work.. 100% on the same level as 2d if not more when you get very complex. getting decent at 2d art is harder. But getting very good at 3d art is much more harder imho. Regardless them calling it low effort is just pathetic. Basic generic sfm stuff which is 100% other users assets with zero manipulation is low effort, but the advanced stuff is defo not.
